What are false ceilings?
False ceilings are a type of architectural design element used in commercial and residential buildings. They are often secondary ceilings that are living below the main ceilings with the help of suspension cords or struts. These ceilings are crafted from a wide range of materials such as pop (plaster of paris), gypsum board, asbestos sheet, aluminium panel etc. False ceilings improve aesthetically appearance and proportion of interior spaces which are very easy to install and economical.
False ceilings consist of metallic suspenders, frames (or grids) and concealing panels of different materials placed on the grids, creating a seamless aesthetic (false) roof.
